Center for Alaska Native Health Research (CANHR)

Institute of Arctic Biology

International Arctic Research Center (IARC)

Institute for Circumpolar Health Studies
Created in 1988 to develop new solutions to health problems in Alaska and the circumpolar north. Part of the College of Health and Social Welfare at the University of Alaska Anchorage.

UAA Office of Health Programs Development
The Office of Health Programs Development was established to support the University of Alaska Anchorage's mission as the health university of the University of Alaska statewide system, and to stimulate appropriate system-wide development of health academic programs and research across the state, providing an interactive bridge between external and internal stakeholders.

Arctic Circle

Arctic Institute of North America, University of Calgary
Created 1945 as a nonprofit tax-exempt research and educational organization based at McGill University in Montreal. The Institute moved to the University of Calgary in 1976. The U.S. Corporation of the Arctic Institute of North America is located at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.

Centre for Arctic Medicine (CAM)
The Centre for Arctic Medicine is an umbrella organization, acting within the structure of the Thule Institute, for networking and developing circumpolar health research performed in the focus area of northern issues at the University of Oulu.

Scott Polar Research Institute, University of Cambridge
Founded in 1920, the oldest international center for polar research within a university.

University of the Arctic
An international non-governmental organization dedicated to higher education in and about the Circumpolar North.
